Fully Refined Paraffin Wax
Fully Refined Paraffin Wax Description
Fully Refined Paraffin Wax, dermatologically harmless substance that won’t clog pores. Whereas several so-called “natural” oils are in fact common allergens and should irritate skin, the oil used in paraffin is one of the safest moisturizing agents used in the cosmetic industry.
Fully refined paraffin wax contains less than 1% oil and have been hydrotreated or clay treated to remove impurities and discoloration. The resulting waxes are water clear, odor free, and normally food grade.
HJ Oil Group guaranty the quality of fully refined paraffin wax with the arrangement of the international inspector to check quality and quantity of the fully refined paraffin wax during the loading to the vessel and controlling the production by QC by batch test report before shipping.
Fully refined paraffin wax is the best and most expensive grade of paraffin wax used in cosmetics or medical and oily papers, it is hard not easy to break, extra white, odorless, transparent and also food industry.
HJ Oil Group guaranty the quality to meet with ASTM.
Fully Refined Paraffin Wax Application
Three major industries that use this product are the Cosmetics, Medical, and Food Industries. The Candle Making Industry also uses this product. Common items manufactured that use Paraffin Wax are Lipsticks, Cream, Oily Papers, and Chocolate. Candles made using Fully Refined Paraffin Wax are of the highest grade and are the most expensive
- Candle Making
- Wax blends and emulsions industry
- Paper converting
- chocolate
- Cosmetic industry (lipsticks, creams, face masks, nail polish, face washes, mascara)
- Polishes and paste waxes
- PVC extrusion lubricants
- Adhesives industry
- Crayons
- Sun-checking waxes for rubber and tires
Packing
Regular packing supplied by HJ Oil Group is carton box. The products are produced in 5 Kg slabs. Each slab is put in the nylon bag and each 5 slabs are put in 1 carton boxes. Carton boxes are hard enough not to get damage because of their 5 hard layers. Palletizing help us to improve the strength of goods in any case of damage.
Paraffin Wax Storage and Handling
Paraffin wax better to be stored in a dark place to prevent from changing color. Do not breathe fumes or vapor from molten material. Do not allow molten material to contact skin. The material can accumulate static charges which may cause an electrical spark (ignition source). Also, high temperatures (more than 40°C) may deform the slabs of paraffin wax. DO NOT heat this material above its flash point. Keep away from flames and open electrical coils. The best way to handle the paraffin wax is carton box packing on the pallet with shrinkage. It is so strong and safe for transporting.
– The store will be well ventilated, temperature is appropriate, it is forbidden to sunlight
– The storage of fully refined paraffin wax sources away from fire
– The use of heating temperature should not be too high, so as to avoid oxidation.

Paraffin Wax
Paraffin Wax Description
Paraffin wax is a complex combination of hydrocarbons obtained by treatment of a petroleum wax fraction with natural or modified clay to remove trace amts. Crude oils and their products contain a large number of individual paraffin. of polar compounds and impurities; predominantly straight chain saturated hydrocarbons.
The raw material of paraffin wax production is slack wax. Slack wax is also petroleum product. It is a mixture of oil and wax in yellow or brown color, processed by De-oiling to decrease the oil content and De-coloring by special powders after heating to produce it.
It is a solid crystalline mixture of straight-chain (normal) hydrocarbons ranging from C20 to C34 and possibly higher, that is, CH3(CH2) CH3, where n218.
It is popularly used in candle making process. Paraffin candles are odorless and bluish-white in color, burns more cleanly and are also more economical than other types of candles.
Synonyms for paraffin wax are: Hard paraffin; Paraffin fume; Petroleum wax. crystalline; Poly (methylene) wax.
Paraffin Wax Application
Paraffin wax has many applications in different industries but the main one is candle making. Almost all types of candle can be made with paraffin. The melting point is the primary determinant of the type of candle you can make with it.
Other uses of it are as follow:
- Bottles
- Rubber
- Irons
- Drawers
- Windows
- Zippers
- Snow Shovels
- Toboggans
- Trash cans
- Chocolate Making
- Hard Cheese
- Handrails
- Steel or Iron
- Fruits and Vegetables
- Hands & Feet
- Crayons
- friction reducer

Packing
The main used packing for paraffin wax is carton box. Total net weight that is packed is 25 Kg include 5 slabs in each carton box. According to the quality of produced paraffin we use nylon for slabs. Sometimes clients order for P.P bag or gunny packing. These two types of packing used for decreasing the final price. Carton box on pallet is the best packing method for safe exporting.
